South African Classics - Fri 16th and Sat 17th April
The cuisine of South Africa is influenced by the indigenous people of the region melded with the flavours from Dutch, French, Indian and Malaysian immigrants. Our menu will include some real classics like bobotie, the boer sausage (borewors), bunny chow (a spicy curry in a bread casing), malva pudding and meilk tart. We might not be able to deliver a brai, the famous South African barbeque but we will make use of some of the sides chakalaka & pap. Join us for a taste of the veld.
